Toshiba 40RV525R 40″ LCD 1080p HDTV

I saw this on sale at amazon. Looks pretty good. You guys know of any other place thats selling it for cheaper. Should i pull the trigger? I’ve never order through amazon before, is it safe?

There has been an increase in the amount of people wanting TVs that are bigger, better and of course more HD ready than their current sets. A possible reason for this may be the digital switchover prompting people to swap their old analogue sets for brand new up-to-date, HD ready ones – it’s the perfect excuse. The only problem that many people find is that there are so many TVs on the market to choose from. The only decision that you may not have to make anymore is whether you want an LCD screen or a plasma screen. Over the last couple of years, LCD TVs seem to have won the fight and come out on top, of course, it is still possible to buy a plasma TV and there’s nothing categorically wrong with them, but LCD TVs seem to be the most popular choice. This is good news as there are now so many models of television to choose from that the fewer decisions the better. This article discusses two very popular TVs around at the moment, one is a well-known favourite and one is a new model that claims to have some very impressive TV technology. The first TV is the Sony Bravia X4500. This brand has had a lot of success as of late and new and more updated models are popping up regularly. This X4500 model ranges from a 40-inch screen right the way through to a huge 55-inch screen. This Sony LCD TV also has six main speakers and two woofer speakers on the 55-ich model or four main speakers and 2 woofer speakers on the 46-inch model. This TV also sports four HDMI ports, a wireless DNLA connection and a USB port as well and for that added extra, the X4500 TVs also come with black or red speaker covers so that you can match your new prized possession with your living room. A TV that has just come out and is hoping to take away some of the limelight from Sony is Toshiba’s Regza ZV. This TV is said to have proprietary Resolution and up-scaling technology. This means that the TV can upgrade standard-definition quality television to “near-HD levels of clarity” by using a cell processor algorithm. This is quite some claim and could allow the viewer to watch quality, clear images from programmes that are not even being transmitted in HD quality. On top of this, the TV also comes in 42-inch and 46-inch screen sizes, is equipped with Toshiba’s Active Vision M100 HD 100Hz picture processing, has crisper blacks and whites with a softer transition between the two and Full HD 1920 x 1080p panels. This Toshiba LCD TV does sound like a very impressive set and is available to buy from the beginning of December; the 42-inch model will be on sale for £900. LCD TVs seem to be the more popular choice of sets now. The Sony Bravia X4500 model is a very popular brand and this Sony LCD TV also has six main speakers and four woofer speakers in the 55-ich model. The Toshiba LCD TV will be available to buy from the beginning of December.

Or something like it?? I’ve been looking at this one and the price is cool and the quality seems good. I had an old Toshiba TV years ago and it’s still reliable and running good! Any pros or cons? Is it a good buy?

1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV… is this going to make the picture blur at all???
