Should i buy Sony Bravia XBR KDL-40XBR7 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV? Review needed?

I’d like it to be $1,100 or below…but with good quality and 1080.
Suggestions would be helpful

I am shopping for an LCD television, in the 40 to 42 inch range. Are there any brands or factors I should consider? I will be building a home theater, used for movies and video games.

Sony KDL 40 XBR, Samsung 40 or 46 inch, Sharp 45 inch, are the ones i’m considering. my concerns other than price are hdmi inputs, picture quality and should i be trying to get most inches for my money?

Im thinking of buying a new HDTV. Im between two choices: Either a Samsung 40 inch LCD 1080 p with a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 or a Samsung 50 inch DLP 1080 p 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Don’t know exacly the difference between LCD and DLP. The LCD set is about 200 dlls extra. Which television should I buy???
