I’ve been shoping for a new 40 inch tv(lcd), I realy like the samsung ln40a750 ,Is that a good choice?

   anything is better than an olevia they are going bankrupt i found out the hard way. Look for one that is 1080p and 120hz they might be more pricey but worth it.

   It really depends on what you are wanting to use it for. (gaming, movies, cable, hd) That actual model is a good telivision. I would say as long as u stick with sony or samsung, your getting a great product. You will pay slightly more for the name, but believe me, it is worth it. The only issues ive seen personally with the samsungs, is they were having bulb issues. Im sure this is resolved, but those bulbs cost 300 each. Id suggest extended warranty and accidental if you think anything weird could happen to it.

   Yes,Samsung make great tv and ln40a750 come with good features 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio,4ms response time is good for gaming and it also have Sports and Game modes boost on-screen performance and interaction with the latest gaming systems
