I Have Bought A Samsung 40 Inch Lcd And Have Problem With Picture?
It seems that the picture speeds up and then regains back to normal speed so it is very strange to look at. Any help fixing this?

Take it back, if you’ve got problems now you’ll have them later, most stores have 90 day warranty and then the factory usually has a longer one on it take it back and get yourself a VIZIO it’s by sony and bar none the best tv i’ve ever had we had actually had a samsung first but the color faded
If it is still under warranty I would either have someone come out and take a look at it. If you’ve had it less than thirty days then I’d take it back and exchange it just to be safe. Also the previous poster stated that Vizio is made by Sony which is false. Vizio is their own company based out of LA. They use parts manufactured by other companies in China and elsewhere, then they assemble the parts in LA.
It sounds like you have Auto Motion Plus (AMP) on the wrong setting. Go into the picture menu and turn AMP to off or low. This will fix the problem you are having with picture speeds.
Auto Motion Plus (AMP) is one of the features of this TV. It is supposed to make the motion on the screen look smooth (less blurry). However, some people hate how motion looks when amp is set too high.
Personally, I am not a fan of amp unless I am watching an animated movie like Cars or Monster Inc.
