Sure. Just be sure to use a HDMI cable for the best video quality. Don’t get suckered into spending big bucks for the Monster brand cable or anything like that. You should be able to get a decent no-name brand cable for about $15-20.
I have that same TV! The first one I bought was defective, but I returned it to Best Buy (after a ton of hassle) and they replaced it. Hasn’t given me any problems ever since, and the picture quality is great.
Make sure it’s a 1080p HDTV or you’ll waste you’re money. And remember the HDMI cables, because they don’t come with the PS3 or HDTV.
I have the 46″ Bravia LCD, I’ve had it for over a yr and I’m still amazed at the display, esp. gameplay graphics.
PS3 outputs at a max resolution of 1080p. so get one which has 1080p display.
and another important thing is u need a bigger tv to actually experience 1080p. 720p and 1080p will look almost exactly the same on a screen less than 50 inch, bcoz the numerous pixels are so close together (1920×1080 , 1280×720) that u cant recognize them with the naked eye. So i suggest to go for a bigger screen like 46″
LCDs bigger than 46″ are freakin overpriced.
there are others like plasmas, projection tv s, hd projectors to consider. But lcd s give the best quality.
